Ingredients

  • 2 small bunches - Fenugreek leaves (Methi leaves)
  • 1 small bunch- Cilantro
  • 4-5 - Spring onion stalks
  • 2 cups- Besan
  • 1 tsp- Baking soda
  • Salt and red chilli powder to taste
  • 1 pinch - Turmeric powder
  • 2- Bananas
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 - Green chillies.

How to Make Tasty Gota

  • Chop the methi leaves, cilantro, spring onions and combine in a bowl.
  • Now mash the bananas and mix all the ingredients (except the oil) with it.
  • Mix well for a consistency of a pakoda batter.
  • Now add 2 tbsps of oil to the batter.
  • Meanwhile heat oil in a kadai.
  • Now dip your fingers in water. With wet fingers take the batter and slowly drop into the oil.
  • Fry on medium heat until brown.
