  • 4 - big size tomatoes (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 - big onion (cut into small pieces)
  • 2 tbsp - chana dal (soaked overnight)
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - masala powder (sambar powder)
  • Seasoning:
  • Mustard
  • Urad dal
  • Hing
  • Turmeric
  • Kadi patta
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • oil

How to Make Tasty Tomato Bhaji

  • Heat oil and add seasoning. Add chana, fry for 2 minutes and add tomatoes and onion.
  • After it is fried well, add sugar, salt and masala powder. Do not add any water.
  • Fry till the whole thing becomes like a paste.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve. While serving apply butter or cheese.
