  • 1/2 cup - rajma
  • 1/2 cup -moong dal (green)
  • 1/2 cup -white peas
  • 3 -onion cut into small pieces.
  • 1/2 cup -tomato cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup -tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp -chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp -curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp- garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp -methi seeds
  • 1/4 tsp- kalongi seeds
  • 1/4 tsp- saunf
  • 1/2 tbsp -tamarind paste
  • oil
  • salt
  • coriander leaves for garnishing.

How to Make Three Beans Curry

  • Soak the dals separately overnight and cook it the next day.
  • In a pan heat oil, add saunf and all the seeds.
  • Once it starts spluttering, fry onions till light brown.
  • Now add the tomato pieces and fry. Add the cooked dals, the dry powders and fry.
  • Add tomato puree, tamarind paste, salt and fry until it becomes a thick gravy.
  • Add a little water if necessary.
  • Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with pulkas or parathas.
