Ingredients

  • 400 g - paneer (crumbled)
  • 4 - medium onions (finely chopped)
  • 3 - green chillies (finely chopped)
  • A handful - green peas
  • 4 to 5 tbsps - oil
  • 3 - big tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsps - red chilli powder
  • 2 tsps - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsps - finely chopped coriander leaves (to garnish)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Tofu Burji with Peas

  • Boil the green peas and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Saute onions and green chillies on a low flame till the onions are light pink in colour.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till the tomatoes are a little tender.
  • Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Saute on a low flame till the oil separates.
  • Add paneer and boiled green peas.
  • Mix gently and simmer for few minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis.
