  • 1 - French Bread, cut in pieces
  • 100 g - Tofu Cheese, cut in thin pieces
  • Veggies:
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup - red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup - yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup - green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup - lettuce leaves, crushed
  • 1 tsp - peppercorn, crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - cheese spread

How to Make Tofu Sandwich

  • Heat butter in a pan, add sliced spring onion and saute for 1 minute.
  • Now add bell peppers and cook for 1 minute more. Season with a little salt and peppercorn.
  • Heat a non-stick tava, roast tofu pieces on it.
  • Apply cheese spread on the French bread pieces and toast them. Place the sauteed vegetables, lettuce leaves and roasted tofu on it and bake or microwave for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
