  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 small piece of Cinnamon
  • 3 small pieces of Garlic
  • 2 green Chillies
  • 1 tsp finely cut Ginger
  • 1 bunch of Pudina (mint) leaves
  • 6 Tomatoes (sliced in half)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • 4 cups - milk or water

How to Make Tomato - Pudina Soup

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the cloves and the cinnamon stick, chillies, ginger and garlic. Fry till light brown
  • Add the pudina leaves and fry till they are cooked.
  • Add cut tomatoes and fry on low flame till cooked.
  • Cool the mixture and grind in a mixie and strain.
  • You can now add water/milk to this mixture.
  • Serve garnished with a dab of butter and a coriander sprig.
