Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 fresh green chillies, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp. tomato puree (paste)
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh coriander

How to Make Tomato and Fresh Chilli Chutney

  • Halve the red pepper and remove the core and seeds.
  • Roughly chop the red pepper halves.
  • Process the pepper with the tomatoes, chillies, salt, garlic, sugar, chilli powder, tomato puree and coriander with 2 tbsp. water in a food processor until smooth.
  • Transfer to a sterilized jar, cover and chill until needed.
