  • 1/2 kg - Tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup - Dates (Khajur)
  • 1/2 cup - Kismis
  • 1 tsp - (Cinnamon, Clove and Black pepper powder)
  • 1/2 cup - Vinegar
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar

How to Make Tomato-Dates Chutney

  • Put tomatoes in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then remove the skin of tomatoes and make a paste of it with your hands.
  • Mix sugar in vinegar and keep it on slow flame till it gets dissolved, then put masala powder and kismish into it.
  • Remove the seeds of dates, make small pieces of it and add it to the above mixer along with tomato paste. Stir continuously.
  • Keep it on a slow flame till the mix gets thick.
  • Have it with chutney with paratha or chapatti.
