Ingredients

  • 5 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 litre boiling water

How to Make Tomato Puree

  • Immerse tomatoes in the boiling water.
  • Cover, keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from water and puree till smooth.
  • Strain to remove seeds and skins.
  • OR
  • Chop and pressure cook tomatoes till soft
  • Blend the tomatoes without adding any water. Strain.
  • Refrigerate and use as required.
