Ingredients

  • 1 cup - wheat flour (atta)
  • 3 - roma tomatoes, chopped fine
  • 2 green chillies (Serrano/jalapenos), chopped
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds (jeera)
  • Few sprigs - coriander leaves (kothmir/cilantro), chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • Water to knead dough
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Tomato Puris

  • Mix all ingredients (except oil) in a bowl and knead to a firm dough.
  • Make small balls and roll into puris.
  • Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
