Ingredients

  • 250 gms - cottage cheese (paneer), cubed
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 onion
  • 1 inch long piece ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 cup - mava 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 2 tbls - clarified butter

How to Make Traditional Paneer Korma

  • Cut paneer in square pieces.
  • Grind onion, ginger, green chilli.
  • Grate mava.
  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add onion, tomato and ground paste.
  • Continue cooking on medium flame till ghee/oil begins to separate.
  • Add mava and cream.
  • Simmer for 2 mins.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and garam masala.
  • Add cottage cheese (paneer) cubes with 1/2 cup of water.
  • When the gravy thickens, switch off the flame.
  • Serve hot.
