Ingredients

  • 4 - big tomatoes
  • Salt
  • 4 cups - water
  • 4 - almonds
  • 4 - cashewnuts
  • 2 - candlenuts
  • Ginger - a small piece
  • Garlic - 2 pieces
  • 4 - small onions
  • For Frying:
  • Cinnamon stick 1 small piece
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cardamoms - 2
  • Star anise - 1
  • Garnishing:
  • Onion leaves - a few.

How to Make Traditional Tomato Soup

  • Heat a wok, add oil and fry cinnamon stick clove, cardamom, star anise.
  • Add tomatoes and stir well.
  • Grind almonds, cashewnuts, candle nuts, ginger, garlic and small onions into a paste.
  • After the tomatoes become soft, add the ground ingredients, mixed with water. Add salt and cover to simmer.
  • Once it starts to boil use a spoon to mash the tomatoes.
  • Garnish with onions.
