Ingredients

  • 2 cups - idly batter
  • 1 cup - carrot (grated)
  • 1 cup - mint and coriander chutney
  • Gingili/Sesame Oil

How to Make Tri-Colour Idly-Veg Sandwich Idly

  • Grease idly plate with gingili oil.
  • Take a spoonful of grated carrot and spread over the greased idly plate.
  • Pour 1/2 tbsp of batter over the carrot.
  • Take a spoonful of mint and coriander chutney. Pour over the batter.
  • Now, cover the chutney with 1/2 tbsp of batter.
  • Steam cook for 5 minutes or till the idly is cooked properly.
  • You can serve the idly without any side dish.
