Ingredients

  • 2 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1/2 cup - canola oil
  • 1 cup - pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp - vinegar
  • 1 tsp - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 1 cup - pineapple piece
  • 2 tbsp - powdered sugar

How to Make Vegan Pineapple Cake

  • Whisk sugar, canola oil and pineapple juice until sugar dissolves
  • Mix together all-purpose flour, baking soda and keep aside
  • Now add the vinegar and vanilla extract to the whisked oil and sugar mixture, mix everything together.
  • Gradually add the flour with baking soda and beat everything until it turns into a smooth batter.
  • Add the pineapple pieces, mix again and keep aside
  • Preheat the oven at 350 degree F
  • Grease a cake mould, pour the cake batter and bake them in middle rack for 30 mins
  • Let cool, before serving sprinkle powdered sugar on the cake
