Ingredients

  • For kofta:
  • 250 gm Paneer
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • For curry:
  • 4 large tomatoes pureed
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1.5 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp shah jeera
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp coconut, grated
  • 2 tsp powdered poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp crushed garlic and ginger
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • Fresh cream

How to Make Vegetable Malai Kofta Curry

  • Make small koftas after mixing the ingredients and making a dough.
  • Deep-fry the koftas on medium heat.
  • Fry ginger, garlic and onion in ghee.
  • Add puree and remaining ingredients (except curd and cream) and cover and cook till the ghee separates.
  • Add beaten curd and cool for a minute.
  • Now, add koftas and cream to it and serve.
