Ingredients

  • 100 g - vermicelli
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1 inch - ginger
  • 2 cups - curd
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • salt
  • 2 tsp - chana dal
  • 2 tsp - urad dal
  • Pepper
  • Hing
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - methi seeds
  • Oil for tadka

How to Make Vermicelli Daddojanam

  • Dry roast vermicelli and cook in 2 cups of water. Drain and keep aside. Add curd, salt and haldi.
  • For tadka, take 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, put urad dal, red chillies, channa dal, mustard seeds, methi seeds, hing, curry leaves, pepper corns, and fry for a little while.
  • Add green chillies, ginger and fry.
  • Add tadka to curd and vermicelli mixture.
  • Mix well and add coriander leaves for garnishing.
  • This daddojanam is good for prasadam as well as for fasting.
