Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - sago/sabudana
  • 1 - potato
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped ginger
  • 3 tbsp - crushed peanuts
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • sugar, a pinch
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Vrat ki sabudana khichadi

  • Chop potatoes into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, and when it starts crackling, add peanuts and potatoes and mix.
  • Cover and cook on low flame for 1.5 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
  • Add green chillies, stir, and then add sabudana, salt, pepper powder, sugar and salt.
  • Cook till the sabudana becomes translucent.
  • Now, add lemon juice and fresh coriander and serve hot.
