Ingredients

  • 1 cup - walnuts, shelled
  • 1/2 tsp - dry powdered curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup - fresh curds, beaten
  • 4 to 5 - Kashmiri red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 - mint leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Walnut Relish

  • Mix curd, powdered curry leaves, salt and sugar well.
  • Pound walnuts and chillies together.
  • Add pounded mixture and mix well.
  • Chill before serving.
  • Garnish with pieces of mint leaves.
  • Serve with vegetable crudites and tortillas.
