Watermelon skewers with mango chutney is a delightful and refreshing combination which will leave all your senses amazed.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Watermelon pieces
  • 2 cups - Musk melon pieces
  • For mango chutney:
  • 1 cup - Green mango pieces
  • 1.5 cups - Sugar
  • 1 inch - Cinnamon stick
  • 2 - Cloves
  • 1 - Bay leaf
  • 3 - Dried red chillies
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Watermelon Skewers with Mango Chutney

  • Heat 200 ml of water and add the mango pieces and bring to boil with all the whole spices.
  • Boil and cook on low flame till the mango pieces are tender.
  • Mix in the sugar and the red chilli powder in the vinegar and continue to stir and cook on low flame till the chutney slightly thickens.
  • To serve: Put the fruits on skewers and serve with the chutney.
