Wedding Cake Cookies are the best version of sweet cookies made for afternoon tea or evening snack. Soft, creamy and nutty - these wonderful cookies are absolutely hard to resist! Try this out at your home as it is really easy to make with readily available ingredients.  

Yummy butter and powdered sugar are creamed well. Flour, vanilla flavouring and pecans are added to it and this whole mixture is dropped onto a un-greased sheet for baking. Once it is done, roll those crunchy cookies in powdered sugar for some extra kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound butter
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla flavouring
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 ½ to 2 cups pecans
  • 1 tsp. powdered sugar for coating

How to Make Wedding Cake Cookies

  • Cream butter and ½ cup powdered sugar well. Add flour, vanilla and pecans.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased sheet; press down slightly with fork tines.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Cool, roll in powdered sugar.
