Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  • Heated oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required
  • Garam Masala Powder (if required) - 1/2 tsp

How to Make Wheat Biscuit

  • Mix all the ingredients together except water.
  • Add water little by little to the above mix and knead it to a roti dough.
  • Make into medium sized balls.
  • Roll each ball into a thin roti and cut it into diamond shaped pieces or any other preferred shape.
  • Spread them on a thin plastic sheet or clean newspaper sheet.
  • Each piece should be separate.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan
  • Put a handful of pieces at a time and fry until golden brown.
  • Preserve in an air tight container.
