Ingredients

  • 1 kg - chicken
  • 2 - onion
  • 4 to 5 - green chillies
  • 1 big piece - cinnamon
  • 8 - cloves
  • 5 to 6 - cardamom
  • Salt to taste
  • For paste:
  • 8 to 10 - badam
  • 1/2 tsp - white pepper
  • 8 pods - garlic
  • small piece - ginger

How to Make White Chicken Kurma

  • Clean and wash chicken.
  • Cut the onion and cook in a little water till soft. Grind to a paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon, clove, cardamom, green chillies, onion paste and fry for 2min.
  • Add chicken, badam paste and salt to taste.
  • Mix well and let it cook in a low flame till done.
  • This will be thick gravy. If you want a thin one, you can add more water and make it thin.
  • Serve with naan and rotis.
