Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - white pumpkin/ash gourd (peeled and cut into small pieces)
  • 1 tsp - pepper corns
  • 2 tbsp - grated coconut
  • 2 - green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - grated ginger
  • 6-7 - curry leaves
  • 1 - onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make White Pumpkin-Ash Gourd Stir Fry

  • Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, pepper corns, ginger and onions and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add the white pumpkin/ash gourd pieces and a little water and cook covered on low heat till all the water dries up.
  • Garnish with the grated coconut and chopped green chillies.
