Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - yam (peeled and cut into slices)
  • 2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp - vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp - oil

How to Make Yam Fry

  • Marinate the yam slices with all the ingredients (except the oil) and keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the yam a little at a time.
  • Shallow fry till golden brown.
