  • 500g - mutton / lamb chops
  • 2 cups - milk
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • green chillies - chopped fine, to taste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1.5 tsp - salt (or to taste)
  • Oil, to brush the dish
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

How to Make Yummy Mutton Chops

  • Grind together the green chillies and the coriander.
  • Put the chops, milk, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli-coriander paste, chilli powder, garam masala and salt in a dish. Cook on a high flame for 8 mins.
  • Brush a second dish with oil and cook on a high flame for 1 minute.
  • Lift the chops out of the first dish and place in a single layer in the second dish.
  • Turn them over (this brushes the chops with oil).
  • Pour the milk mixture over the chops and cook covered, on a high flame for 3 mins, then at 30 degrees for 16 mins, turning once.
  • Check to see if done. If not, cook some more.
  • Adjust gravy to your liking, cook more to lessen or add some water and cook a little.
  • Serve garnished with coriander.
